I work 1:1 with children and young people offering specialist tuition. This normally happens at my home or in the child's school. I use an active, creative, child led approach to make sessions as engaging as possible. Maths is taught using a mastery approach and there is a strong meta-cognitive element to the sessions - supporting children and young people to understand how they learn and what techniques work best for them.
